Engraved Signs
Engraved signs can be used to inform and direct, as well as to identify and clarify. For your home or your business, an engraved sign can be a lovely way to impart a message. A relatively mundane message can be more pleasant to read on an attractive sign, and beautiful presentation makes it more likely that people will notice anything you want or need to share with them. Specialized Engraving can help you make the perfect engraved sign for any indoor or outdoor milieu.
If you are navigating our site, please note that you must first indicate whether you are going to be designing an indoor or outdoor sign. The crucial difference is that brass and aluminum signs cannot be used outdoors–they will oxidize and lose their attractive appearance very quickly. If you select an outdoor sign, all the materials you will be shown on our site are of exterior quality and are fade-resistant. You may want to label flowers in your garden, or engrave a plaque to commemorate a beloved pet. You can also use engraved signs to request as politely as possible that no one knock on your door to solicit or accidentally let your pet outside when they come in.
Indoor Engraved Signs
While you can use brass and aluminum for any indoor sign, we recommend that you consider plastic very carefully. Brass and aluminum are easily scratched, so any sign that is likely to be touched (especially by children) should probably be engraved in plastic instead. Our plastic selection is one of the best in the business. The patterns can be subtle and elegant or bright and cheery. If you want to get engraved signs for employees who perform well, you might go with a subtle and corporate dark green slate or rustico granite with gold engraving. If you want to put up signs for children to read, go with a bright mint ice or apricot. We have these and all sorts of colors in between. We also have the largest selection of borders of any competitor we know, tremendous flexibility in terms of fonts, and we will work with you to add any accents, logos, or artwork that you want.
At our company, we have a dual mission–to give you exactly what you want, and to give you the highest quality and most attractive engraved signs, name plates, pet identification tags, business card holders, or anything else in our inventory. There are times when a customer will make an online request for a sign which, with our years of experience in engraving, we believe will not be easy to read or may look cramped. Every order receives personal attention from a skilled designer and engraver, so we hope you don’t mind that we contact you to discuss it if we see a problem or potential problem with your order. You don’t have to take our suggestions, but we’ll explain the problem that we see and offer you an alternative that might better achieve your aims in creating your sign.
